August 9 – North Lake Home Coming Day – Community Hall, 4426 Route 122, Fosterville, N.B. – Sponsored by the North Lake Recreation Council – Come out and join us for a variety of activities, kick back, relax, socialize with family, friends, and neighbours. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Join us every Thursday morning. CAFÉ DEBEC – 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. – Debec Women’s Institute Hall, 254 Debec Road – Bring your favorite cup if you wish – free coffee, tea, and treats available. A great place to have a coffee and catch up with your friends and neighbours.

August 15-16 – Meductic Community Days Presents – “Day At The Beach”
August 15– Bossy Bingo –Meductic Memorial Park– 7:00 p.m. Only 100 tickets to be sold.
Available at Cumming’s Store. Proceeds going to the Meductic Recreation Committee. $10 per square. The square with the largest deposit wins $ 500 cash prize. If the cow deposits on a line, then the winner will be decided by the judges. You do not need to be present to win!

August 23 – Allie Yerxa Memorial Kids Fishing Derby – On the docks at Meductic
Memorial Park – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon – BBQ to follow event. No admission but pre-registration is required by calling or texting 425-2015 by August 10. Children of all ages welcome. Allie was a long-time resident of Meductic who is remembered for his love of fishing. His family honours his memory by organizing this event each year. Come show off your fishing skills and try to catch the big fish!
