National Volunteer Week – April 27 – May 3
The theme for National Volunteer Week 2025 is “Volunteers Make Waves”. The Municipality of Lakeland Ridges Mayor and Council would like to recognize and thank all the volunteers throughout our region for their contributions. Like a wave, every act of volunteering, from contributing to our fire service, providing recreational opportunities, organizing community cleanups, coaching and mentoring our youth, to providing acts of kindness to friends and neighbours is appreciated. You are creating positive waves of change. Whether big or small your actions are making a lasting impact and helping Council to build an inclusive strong municipality where individuals want to live, work, vacation and retire.
