**Important update added regarding delivery of carts to residents in the Meductic limits .”
Recycling Changes for the Former Village of Meductic
The big blue bin that was removed from the park will be returned in the next few days. This bin will be removed permanently in May and residents will begin to have curbside pick up.
Blue recycle wheeled carts will be provided free of charge to residents who have not previously received one. Only one bin per household.
How do you get your free recycle cart?
I have just confirmed that JS Bellis will be delivering these recycle bins/receptacle to all residents in Meductic limits prior to startup of collections in May. Therefore, these residents will not be permitted to pick up their bins from JS Bellis. This helps control where bins are delivered, and to ensure they don’t deliver to same address twice, or that they do not miss any addresses.
The first curbside pick up for recycling in the former Village of Meductic will be Monday, May 26th, 2025. Recycling will always be the fourth Monday of the month.
Canterbury
The big blue bin was also removed from Main Street in Canterbury. Unfortunately, it has been permanently removed.
